Project Summary: For the past four years, WDI has been strengthening Uzbekistan’s only private business school, the Kelajak Ilmi International Business School (IBS) in Tashkent. During this time, WDI has developed curriculum, trained faculty and administrators, recommended key changes to the organizational structure, created student services (admissions, development, student services, career planning and placement), designed an effective marketing campaign, and developed a strategy for financial sustainability. Most recently, WDI’s resident Chief of Party has been instrumental in the establishment and training of a highly respected local and international board of directors for IBS, which will assist with the school’s governance and sustainability.
