Alcely Barrosso from Microsoft, will be the guest speaker at the WDI Global Impact Speaker Series on February 13, 2008. The event will be held at 4:30 pm in the Executive Education Bldg, E0550, with a reception to follow.
Alcely Strutz Barroso has been working with social and economic development issues for over six years. She began as a professor in a private university in São Paulo and later became the coordinaor for undergraduate courses. While there, Alcely was also responsible for managing social development projects, extra-curricular activities and was assistant to the Dean for Social Responsiblity issues.
Prior to joining Instituto Crescer as a consultant for Microsoft, she was working as a consultant for NGOs and companies in the strategic planning phase for implementing social investments.
