Peter Maquera, President and CEO of SPi, will be the guest speaker at the WDI Global Impact Speaker Series on March 5, 2008. The event will be held at 4:30 pm, Room W2740 of Wyly Hall with a reception to follow.
Peter Maquera is responsible for the day-to-day management of SPi. He has played a key role in achieving the Company's rapid growth and positioning SPi as a leading Global BPO services provider. Other posts previously held by Peter at SPi include Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer of SPi, VP - Corporate Development (responsible for Strategy, Mergers and Acquisions, and Marketing), President and Cheif Operating Officer of SPi Servisoft, and Head of Corporate Quality. Before joining the Company, Peter was the Chief Operating Officer of Lighthouse Credit Technologies and held senior executive positions with other leading organizations in the US, Australia, and Indonesia. Peter has over 20 years of experience in various disciplines including Finance, Operations and Management Consulting. Peter holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
