Coaching & Empowerment - Istanbul
Thursday, June 12, 2008, Istanbul, Turkey
This executive education program is designed for managers and executives who would like to maximize their potential and that of their subordinates through disciplined coaching and empowerment based on a rigorous assessment of one's own talents and the talents of others. As one core aspect of this program, we will be examining how building trust is essential for effective coaching of others, and for empowering others to take action based on such coaching. Participants will learn how trust is used to coach and empower others based on the forthcoming book by Aneil Mishra, Ph.D. and Karen Mishra, Ph.D., Trust Me: How to Be the Boss You Always Wanted, to be published early 2008. Throughout the program, a variety of experiential exercises and assessment tools will be used to develop participants' effectiveness as coaches as they work to empower their subordinates and other important stakeholders.
Day One, the program will cover:
- Assessing Key Talents and Strengths in Yourself and in Your Organization
- Coaching and Empowerment in Action
Day Two, the program will cover:
- Building the ROCC (Reliability, Openness, Competence, and Concern) of Trust to Coach and Empower Others
- Coaching and Empowering Others to Create Enterprise Value
