The William Davidson Institute is a non-profit, research and educational institute at the Michigan Ross School of Business. NGO ALLIANCE - All applications for participation in the symposium will be considered for the William Davidson Institute NGO Alliance in Latin America & the Caribbean. Members of the Alliance are innovative non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have adopted or are creating strategies for adopting commercial approaches through which their organization can become more sustainable and less dependent on donors. The aim of the NGO Alliance is to promote networking opportunities and the dissemination of best practices. MISSION
Constitute a bridge towards a new relationship with the United Nations;
Serve the United Nations through the promotion of its ideals, spreading its principles about creating a better world, valuing the human being, improving life conditions and environmental conservation.
 
POSITIONING
· General public, especially the youth and college students;
· Non-governmental organizations, public and private entities as well as educational institutions and organizations of the UN system;
· The media in general;
· National and international organisms;
· Brazilian states and foreign nations;
· Diverse social networks.
 
GOALS
Have its usefulness recognized by various segments of society as an organization that acts in behalf of better life conditions and enhanced environmental conservation;
Win respect from public entities, all levels of government, social segments and other institutions;
Be recognized by the UN for the relevance of its role as a champion, disseminator and catalyst of United Nations principles for the many segments in Brazilian;
Have it acknowledged that the Entity is useful in adding value to the world organization’s flag.
