About the Conference

This three-day conference brought together more than 200 social enterprise leaders across Latin America and will offer them an opportunity to share best practice and strategies on:

·         Management Tools and Practices
·         Revenue Generation
·         Empowerment and Opportunity through IT

NGOs presented their social innovation/entrepreneurship models and the organizational challenges and benefits these models have introduced. The conference also included a mix of keynote speakers, case studies, learning-by-sharing, technical assistance sessions and practical business workshops to provide participants with current examples of innovations and best practices for increasing sustainability and social impact. In addition the conference evaluated obstacles and opportunities for fostering these innovations in Latin America.

The event was highly interactive with 1400 people participating virtually throughout the three-day conference. At the Serasa, NGO participants hosted a floor show in which they displayed and sold social enterprise products as well as networked with one another. Participating NGOs left this conference with new ideas and business models that will provide them with a new set of tools to enhance their sustainability allowing them to positively affect the social impact of their organization.
