Bigger Brazilian center of study, has debated and knowledge irradiation on excellence in management
Established in 1991, the FNQ – Fundação Nacional da Qualidade (FNQ - National Quality Foundation) is the biggest Brazilian center of study, dedicated to excellence in management. To increase the competitiveness of the organizations and Brazil, the FNQ searches to mobilize and to organize people in the physical and legal professions around obtaining management skills in a world-wide classroom.
A non-governmental organization, without lucrative ends, the FNQ was established by 39 organizations, private and public, to manage the PNQ - Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade® (National Quality Award) and all the domestic activities of the awarding process. In addition, FNQ serves asthe the external institutional representation of the PNQ in forums international; beyond spreading the basis of the excellence for the increased competitiveness of the organizations and Brazil.
With 15 years of performance, the FNQ already lead 15 cycles of the PNQ. For this, the FNQ counts on more than three thousand volunteers who had worked about 180 thousand voluntary hours. More than 16 thousand professionals had been enabled by the FNQ and more than 420 thousand units of the Criteria of Excellence have been distributed.
With the experience acquired throughout these years, fulfilling its institutional mission, the FNQ also stimulated and participated in the creation of diverse sectors, state and regional awarding. The FNQ has come to develop the National Net of the Management Route the Excellence with more than 52 programs. The project is to offer services that make possible the reflection and the adoption of the principles of excellence in management in companies not yet reached by the FNQ.
Disseminating the Fundamentals of Excellence in Management in order to increase the competitiveness of organizations and Brazil is the mission of the FNQ – National Quality Foundation.
