FUNDAMOR

Conscious of the need for prevention and education about the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus, the organizacion served the first adult cases in its former headquarters in San Antonio with the help of families and companies.  Subsequently the organization directed its efforts toward children living with the disease in its current location in la Viga, Pance.

Principal Activities:

• Casa Hogar, which provides integrated residential attention to symptomatic, asymptomatic, and terminal children with HIV/AIDS, with a holistic focus (somatic, psychological, occupational, nutritional, recreational, educational, and spiritual)
• Medical, psychological, dental, and nutritional care for patients with HIV/AIDS both at the FUNDAMOR headquarters and through ambulatory services
• Occupational Therapy for HIV/AIDS carriers
• Phono-audiology Therapy for Children
• Stimulation Therapy
• Social and Family guidance, directed toward the new and biological families of the children at FUNDAMOR 
• Therapeutic Pre-school Education in pre-jardin and jardin level children from ages 2 to 6.  Basic primary education through an agreement with an educational institution in Cali, teaching support for children who attend colegio.
• HIV/AIDS and STD Prevention Program
• External consulting for adults with HIV
• Training in organic farming methods at FUNDAMOR's organic farm
• Center for Healing and Interior Health
• Transition home for adults with cancer in alliance with the Joaquina Sardi Foundation in La Viga

Social Enterprise Activities:

• "Por Gusto y Solidaridad" Campaign by Healthy Food International:  cookie dispensers.  Sales of cookies and sweets through the placement of vending machines in various businesses.  This project is part of the "Taste of Helping" campaign.
• "Bonos por la Vida":  the program offers bonds that people can buy for their family or friends for the occasions of:  condolence, birthday, or recognition of good work.
• Organic Farm:  FUNDAMOR produces organice foods oriented toward healthy nutrition for its children, and the remaining produce is sold.
• Sale of cleaning items:  FUNDAMOR offers a variety of products like brooms, rag-holders, and brushes of high quality made with a social purpose 
• Training Workshops
• Conference:  HIV/AIDS prevention workshop
• Shop for new, second-hand, remainder and imperfect items
• Recycling program: one of FUNDAMOR's income sources is the collection of recyclable materials:  businesses donate materials like paper, cardboard, newspaper, etc. and recycling businesses in partnership with FUNDAMOR (Valley Association of People with Limited Vision, and National Fibers, among others) which buy the materials from FUNDAMOR at the market value for that quantity.
• Sponsor a Kid or Godparents Plan Programs consist in sponsoring a child and establishing bonds between the child and the sponsor through monthly support that helps the child meet their basic needs.
• Christmas cards:  the childrens' drawings from art class are the inspiration for the creation of the cards.  Individuals and businesses carry the cards for sale.
• Other events:  annual bingo, film premiers, cookie day, among others
