Ideas Foundation is a nonprofit and non-governmental organization (NGO), non-political, pluralistic, and legally incorporated, with open and democratic work systems.
It began its activities in 1983 as an informal association of professionals, centering its work in promotion, rural development and training - formation of human resources in management technology and micro sized businesses. In 1996, Ideas acquired nonprofit legal status in Argentina and was formalized as a Foundation. Currently, Ideas accompanies and leads numerous projects of community development in most Argentinean provinces, as well as in some Latin American countries.

To achieve a more fair and equitable society where to know is a right for everybody.

Objectives
--to facilitate the construction of alliances and solidarity associative organization models (State, business, community) to contribute to the social, educational and cultural growth.
--to strengthen the organizations and networks of organizations of the civil society in the construction of action and reflection projects for a responsible and solidary citizenship.
--to articulate human, material and technological resources of the social field for the construction and accumulation of social capital.
